Ivan Edwards is a highly accomplished vocalist, musician, and arranger. A native of Lumberton, North Carolina, Ivan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Vocal Performance from UNC Chapel Hill and is classically trained. He is well-versed in all vocal parts and brings a strong creative gift for writing and arranging music. Residing for many years in the greater Charlotte area, Ivan has honed his talents through opera, off-Broadway productions, and a cappella performances. Raised in church, his love for gospel music began early as part of his family group, The Gospel Messengers. Ivan has also served faithfully in church leadership roles, including Minister of Music and Christian Education Director, using his gifts to minister through song and testimony.
